Role: Maintenance Electrician

Location: Solihull

Hours: 39.5 hours (7.30am - 430pm Flexible start times)

**Job Description**:
The role will include:

- Planned, predictive and breakdown maintenance of all plant, equipment and facilities. Specialising in electrical.
- Electrical installation
- Inspection and testing of electrical installations
- Electrical repair, fault finding and diagnosis
- Providing ad hoc support where required.

Job Requirements:

- Time served electrical maintenance engineer
- Experience of planned, predictive and breakdown maintenance of manufacturing plant, equipment and facilities
- Experience maintaining Paint Shops and mixing units, cranes and welding equipment is preferred
- Flexibility
- Can work on own initiative
- Meticulous and good attention to detail
- Able to prioritise work
- Be able to plan, coordinate, and perform the installation, maintenance, and repair for electrical systems in buildings
- Be able to install, test, maintain and repair electrical systems in commercial/ industrial buildings.
- Qualified 17th or 18th edition and NVQ Level 3
- You will ideally have Industrial / Manufacturing experience
- Must be able to read and understand wiring of electrical components and circuits.

Machinery on site:
You will ideally have experience in some of the below
- Plasma cutting
- Machinery typically found in a Paint shop
- Weld machines
- Metal cutting
- Bending machinery
- Robot Welders
- CNC Machines
- Cranes
- Welding equipment
