Paintline Operative

The paintline acts as a service department to the Group, and the link between the Metal Shop and Assembly departments.

**Main duties & responsibilities**:

- **Loading product onto conveyor lines**:

- **Unloading product from conveyor lines**:

- **Preparing work pieces for coating by masking or bunging**:

- **Stack and package product onto pallets**:

- **Organize hooks, jigs and fixtures**:

- **Change pre-treatment risers daily in line with planned maintenance**:

- **Assist with training of staff**:

- **Cleaning plant & equipment and assisting with tank discharges**:

- **Follow all quality control guidelines set by the company**:

- **Follow the requirements of the company’s ISO procedures**:

- **Follow the company’s Health And Safety Policy, Work Instruction & Safe Systems of Work.**:

- **Operating metalworking equipment - both automated and manual**:

- **Any other duties either within Metal Shop or Paint Line.**:

- The ability to take instruction from a Charge Hand/Supervisor/Manager and ask when unsure of tasks undertaken or given
