Transport Planner

**Southbar Transport is a small family business with over 30 years experience. We provide a reliable transportation service across the UK and Europe.**

Our company is hiring a Transport Planner to join our team. Having previous experience within the transport industry would be preffered, however, training will be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning the daily operations of our fleet
- Using booking platforms to organise the daily workload
- Develop and maintain relationships with drivers and customers
- Solving logístical issues
- Ensuring driver legislation is being followed

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Computer literate
- Excellent organisation skills
- Geographical knowledge

Qualifications: HGV + CPC licence holder desirable but not essential

**Salary**: negiotable depending on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
