**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in advertising sales, business development or online media environments.
- Experience in leading partnerships or client relationships.
- Experience working in a regional role or in-market role.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Knowledge of leading digital advertising ecosystem (e.g., advertisers, agencies, platforms or clients).
- Knowledge of Google’s advertising products.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a changing environment to execute projects with complex goals, multiple POCs at different executive levels and limited guidance.
- Ability to deliver results under pressure and show dedication to client services.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently.
- Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
**About the job**:
Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
As a Regional Account Executive, you will help provide integrated, cross-platform advertising solutions. You will drive and grow new business with Google advertisers. You will manage C-level and executive business relationships to ensure end-client and agency needs and requirements are met. You will serve as their advocate within Google while collaborating with other Google teams to provide them with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and options.

**Responsibilities**:
- Build and grow C-level relationships with regional client decision makers and their agency counterparts, to build and carry out digital strategies and optimize their advertising expenditures.
- Develop and manage global and regional Joint Business Plans across Google products and services, countries, and channels.
- Drive initiatives with creative agency partners to infuse their creative development process with Google data, tools and resources. Build the foundation for adopting audience solutions, formats, and measurement practices.
- Generate business plans to define business strategies and tactics, and support clients with advertising programs, and drive e-commerce business.
- Develop scalable solutions for clients to optimize their advertising expenditures and maximize the use of Google products (e.g., Search, Video, Display, Mobile), including innovation opportunities with product teams.
