What Will I Be Doing as A Garage Supervisor?

As the Garage Supervisor, you will be at the core of our business and the funerals which we deliver within the community. As a Garage Supervisor, you will be responsible for diary management and booking of funerals and vehicles for all branches in the Altrincham area to ensure efficient service delivery

Other duties will include:

- Keep and build a good working relationship with all staff on the team.
- Lead by example and assist with funerals and deceased transfers when required.
- Responsible for supporting the diary management and booking of funerals and vehicles for all branches of the brand to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Oversee all Funeral Service Operatives, Trainee Embalmer casual staff.
- Management and maintenance of all vehicles (including cleanliness).
- Supporting the ordering of all coffin, workshop, and embalming stock.
- Ensure all transfers of deceased in office hours are completed in a timely manner.
- Overseeing and supporting the coordination of all fleet vehicles to complete daily funerals.
- Responsible for checking standards within the garages and workshops to ensure that all areas are always kept clean and tidy.
- Take health and safety seriously and be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety procedures.
- Adhere to Company policies, procedures and NAFD codes of practice.
- Manage and monitor compliance of the Identification of the deceased and the Jewellery and Personal Effects procedures.
- Carry out reasonable requests as and when requested to do so by the line manager & participate in the on-call rota.

What Do I Need?
- A Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent organisation skills
- Previous management/supervisory experience.

Advantageous:

- Previous experience in the industry, though this is not required, as full training will be provided.
