**About the Role
- Resort Joiner**

To undertake all aspects of joinery work as required at the Alton Towers Resort. Working within a team of other tradespersons to ensure maintenance work is carried out across all areas of the resort; ensuring safe operation for our guests and team members.

**NVQ levl3 equivalent qualifications are required along with experience in joinery work and with a flexible approach to work.**

**Main Responsibilities**:

1. Operations_**
- Undertake all aspects of joinery tasks as required
- Carry out general maintenance if required to ensure operational presentation and customer satisfaction.
- Considers other departments requirements and provides guidance and support as appropriate.
- Ensure maintenance work is within all relevant legislation, guidelines and code of practice and that all procedures are adhered to.

**_ 2. Marketing_**
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure best service.
- To develop and maintain an appropriate knowledge of business operation and activities.

**_ 3. Financial_**
- Assist with methods of working differently in order to maximise resources on site.

4. Development_**
- Actively supports new approaches and innovative solutions for maintenance issues.
- Assist in providing long term solutions for replacement of obsolete equipment by staying abreast of modern developments within the industry.

**_ 5. People_**
- Promote a culture which encourages input and initiatives by completing appraisals and objectives.
- Develop effective paths of two-way communication seeking ways of developing good service and delivery.
- Promotes the company standards and values.
- Consider your own training needs to enable you to keep at the forefront of modern technology and safety standards.
- Ensure that maintenance is carried out within relevant legislation, guidelines and code of practice and that all procedures are adhered to.
- Proactively seeks to update personal skills and knowledge.
- Demonstrates commitment to company standards and values and promotes effective working.
- Is approachable, while developing a team environment, which retains its professionalism.
- Builds effective working relationships with the team.
