**Senior Product Designer (remote working, 3 days per week)**

Bibado has a small, dedicated, and collaborative senior team, developing, designing and marketing award-winning products that support the development of young children and make parents' lives easier. To meet our latest plans for growth and new product development, we are seeking a Product Designer to join us in-house on a regular part-time basis to be a significant part of our innovation and design delivery team.

You'll be working with our Head of Product across multiple categories within the baby and nursery sector. Our current products involve têxtiles and injection moulded objects and we’re looking to expand into other areas of the nursery sector. Your practical skills and creative ideas will help evolve our current range and shape the future of our product portfolio. You’ll take concepts through to commercially viable solutions with hands-on involvement at every stage.

If you are a self-motivated Product Designer with 5+ years of relevant experience, we'd love to hear from you. This is a permanent, remote role for 3 (fixed) days per week. Occasional travel will be required for some meetings and quarterly company-wide team meet-ups.

**Role & Responsibilities Across Product Development**:

- Exploring and presenting market and competitor research
- Generating ideas and concepts from research insights with sketches, CAD models or physical mock-ups
- Working with our suppliers to ensure samples, documentation and prototypes meet technical, quality and cost specifications
- Communicate and engage effectively with the Head of Product and the wider Bibado team
- Respond proactively to maintaining and driving timelines.

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- An undergraduate degree in Industrial Design or Product Design (or equivalent)
- A proven track record of product development
- Competent in 3D CAD software, 3D printing, injection moulding, and manufacturing processes
- The ability to creatively problem-solve and implement ideas in a hands-on environment
- Track record of self-managing workload with good organisational skills and collaborative team attitude

**Bonus Skills and Experience**:

- A basic understanding of, or strong interest in, electronics for the baby market.
- Competent in Adobe Creative Suite, with an eye for graphic design and layout.
