Qhse Officer

**The Role**:
You will have full responsibility over the company’s health and safety, product quality and industry compliance. Working with the management team you will develop and improve upon current quality management systems with root cause analysis of quality issues and problem solve where necessary.

**Direct Responsibilities**:

- Creating and reviewing risk assessments and procedures.
- Identifying hazards on site and working with management to reduce them.
- Keeping the company up to date with all relevant H&S legislation.
- Conduct and host external audits of the business by key customers.
- Check product BOM’s match current systems and update and amend where necessary.
- Develop internal quality management systems with daily recorded inspections.
- Assisting with supplier non-conformance of raw materials and working with them on corrective measures.
- Work with management to develop procedures and company policies
- Chair and deliver monthly QHSE meetings with management.
- Ensure that machinery and tools meet industry standard and are safe and calibrated.
- Coordinate training for staff and manage records of staff training and their respective competencies on site.
- Learn an understanding of industry product safety requirements, highlighting any areas of concern to management.
- Complete company fire drills as per schedule.
- Maintain product route cards to ensure all products are built to the standards expected.
- Help the company be complaint with our industry ‘pledge for our planet’ scheme by making incremental improvements in our green credentials.

**Ideal Experience**:

- NEBOSH qualification or recognised equivalent (preferred).
- Experience on quality management systems.
- Experience of managing HSE, preferably in a factory setting.
- Experience of providing risk assessments and training people to work accordance to the guidelines provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
