You will have care co-ordination responsibilities alongside the tasks of recovery planning, risk assessing, risk management planning and client-centered reviews.

You will be committed to a positive, holistic and empowering approach to care co-ordination and will work with service users to initiate recovery from drug dependence, to enable service users to build their own recovery capital and to support them to move into long-term sustained recovery and social (re)integration.

**Hours**:37.5hrs per week

**Salary**:£26,393.77 - £30,316.74

**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:

- Supporting service users involved with HM Probation Service and Criminal Justice System from the point of entry into service and through their treatment/recovery journey
- To support Probation with the assessment and management of risk posed by offenders to protect victims of crime and the general public
- To support Probation staff by contributing to the delivery of the Sentence plan
- To provide a weekly drop in at Probation to support entry into service
- To conduct alcohol and drug tests as required
- Liaising and providing information and advice to criminal courts, criminal justice agencies and other partner agencies
- Work with other agencies and groups to prevent crime and meet the needs of victims and offenders.

**About you**:

- Experience of supporting and advising participants with complex and/or multiple barriers to success
- Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System
- Experience of working with Criminal Justice Partnerships
- Knowledge of effective interventions that lead to reduction in drug related crime
- Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
- Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in
