Pertemps Managed Solutions are working with a Global FMCG brand to find a new addition to the team, an assistant payroll manager. in this role you will be reporting in to the UK & PL Payroll Manager. In this role you will assess current payroll processesand suggest improvements. You will also provide support to new schemes to ensure they are implemented correctly and fully operational on time.
Contract length: 12-18 Months
100% remote
Rate: £16.50 to £18.50 p/h PAYE

**Responsibilities**:
The job holder will play an important role in the delivery of specific projects for both Payroll and T&A.
The role has a number of key areas of focus:

- Develop and implement specified administration and system processes for UK Payroll and T&A
- Identify and deliver projects relating to policy or legislation changes
- Maintain and co-ordinate internal controls and alignment of data for Payroll and T&A assisting team with implementation as required
- Provide assistance and co-ordinate data requests for 3rd party suppliers, Global Mobility Team, internal and external audit
- Provide training and support to the team as required where gaps appear in knowledge base

**Requirements**:

- Proven systems skills and experience, preferably SAP
- Project co-ordination experience
- Intermediate in Excel
- Competent in Word
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to organize workload
- Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
