**Role - Storeperson**

**Duration - Initial 2 Month Contract**

**Location - On-site in Blyth (NE24)**

**Working Hours - 10 Hour Days (Monday to Friday)**

BTS are currently seeking a motivated Storeperson to join a leading player in the fabrication industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the delivery of an exciting Renewables project in the North East.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Master BOM Management**: Take ownership of the Master Bill of Materials, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in updating records based on project requirements and changes.

**Inventory Management**: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, track stock movements, and conduct regular stock checks to ensure optimal levels.

**Goods Receiving and Dispatch**: Oversee the receipt of goods, inspecting deliveries for accuracy and quality. Coordinate the dispatch of materials to various departments and project sites.

**Warehouse Organisation**: Efficiently organise and manage the layout of the warehouse, ensuring easy access to materials and optimising storage space.

**Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including receipts, distributions, and returns. Generate reports as required.

**Health and Safety**: Adhere to health and safety protocols in the warehouse, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff. Report any safety concerns promptly.

**Manual Handling Qualification**: Possess a recognised qualification in manual handling, demonstrating the ability to safely handle and move materials within the warehouse.

**Forklift Truck License**: Hold a valid forklift truck license, with demonstrated proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

**Communication**: Collaborate with other departments to understand their material requirements and coordinate deliveries accordingly. Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Proven experience as a Storeperson or similar role, preferably in a fabrication or construction environment.

Experience in managing Master Bills of Materials.

A valid Manual Handling Qualification: with the ability to safely handle and move materials within the warehouse.

A valid Forklift Truck License with demonstrated proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Familiarity with inventory management systems.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: £110.00-£170.00 per day

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
