Stockroom Supervisor

A **full-time, permanent vacancy** has arisen for a **Stockroom Supervisor** within our **Support Centre based in Glasgow city centre**.

In order to deliver ‘A Cut Above’ standards in relation to effective control of stock management, the Stockroom Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the department provides stores with sufficient levels of stock at all times and ensures that department Key performances are met.

The Stockroom Supervisor is accountable for controlling the receipt, storage and dispatch of products in and out of the stockroom while assisting in managing the people, processes and systems and supporting in ensuring that productivity targets are achieved.

**Stockroom Supervisor Job Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing the receipt of stock in and out of the stockroom ensuring all paperwork and system updates are actioned accurately and within agreed timeframe
- Assist in managing distribution of stock to the stores on a daily/weekly basis while ensuring care is always taken when handling stock to prevent damage/loss
- Assist in managing stock requests, stock repairs and stock booked onto assay in an accurate and timely manner in line with SLA
- Assist in managing the control and record all store damages and returns to minimise loss
- Manage stock returns to suppliers, chase up outstanding repairs and process credits received
- Assist in bi-annual stock takes, identify and investigate stock variances and report results in line with timescales in SLA
- Report price variances to buying department daily and weekly to ensure all profit margins are met
- Co-ordinate the distribution and replenishment of packaging, display props and sales sundries to branches to ensure that adequate levels are always maintained
**Stockroom Supervisor - skills and experience**
- Must have Stockroom Supervisory/Management experience (preferably within an ecommerce retail environment or retail brand)
- Inspiring and infectious leadership style
- Strong, energetic character able to positively communicate to team and adapt to changing requirements effectively
- Exceptional organisational skills
