InterMoor are currently looking to add a **Surveyor** to their team based in **Aberdeen** on a full time, permanent basis. The Surveyor will be responsible for the mobilising, interfacing and fault finding of survey and positioning equipment to allow offshore, onshore, local and international projects to be executed efficiently, effectively and safely.

**Duties/Responsibilities**
- Operation of navigation and positioning equipment both surface and subsea
- Mobilisation and calibration of surface and subsea positioning equipment
- Provision of positioning and reporting during offshore projects and contribution towards other relevant project administration as required
- Ensuring best practice and QHSE compliance is promoted and always striving to achieve a zero incident rate
- Communicate with the team to ensure everyone fully understands assigned projects in terms of specifications, timing, risks, and constraints
- Work closely with others to maximise team achievements and effectiveness through developing relationships and continuous sharing of knowledge and ideas
- Work Onshore, Offshore, Internationally and locally in Aberdeen depending on Departmental requirements

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications in one of the following areas: Hydrography, Geodetics, Geographical or Information Systems would be advantageous but relevant experience will also be taken into consideration
- Experienced in the use of DGPS, USBL, Survey Software
- Confident using a total station, installing survey control, completing relevant calibrations, and processing data
- In possession of necessary Offshore Certification is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communicator, in both written and verbal forms with highly effective inter-personal skills supported by good attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple, complex and fast-track priorities with a proactive and positive attitude
- Ability to promote best practice and QHSE compliance, raising standards through demonstration of own behaviours
- Creative and adaptable in the ability to manage new challenges with the ability to develop new and unique ways to improve operations of the organization to create new opportunities by observing trends and developments of practices
