Virtual Pharmacist are looking for Senior/ Cover _Clinical Pharmacists _with general practice experience & Independent Prescriber, based anywhere in the UK, to support GP practices with the highest quality care for patients, This is a full time role working from our head office in Allerton Bywate Castleford on a hybrid model.

**Role Requirements of a Clinical Pharmacist**
- Previous GP Practice experience _**(essential)**_
- _**Independed Presciber (Essential)**_
- Minimum of 2 years Post Graduate experience
- Excellent clinical knowledge - Clinical Diploma preferred but not essential
- Commitment to continue to learn and develop
- Computer literate
- Strong clinical leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

**Role Responsibilities of a Clinical Pharmacist (may include but are not limited to)**
- Covering Practice due to sickness
- Supporting team members
- Acute medicines request reviews
- Processing hospital discharge/clinic letters
- Provide support and advice for patients with self limiting conditions
- Support Practices to achieve QOF targets as required
- Contribute to the improvement of health outcomes in long term conditions as part of the multidisciplinary Primary Care Team
- Other general tasks as required

**We would require you to work over both SystmOne and Emis (training can be given if you have only used one before)**

Contract length: Ongoing

Location: Head Office, Allerton Bywater
