**Mechanic for Nextbike by TIER**

Our Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan fleet (sponsored by OVO) includes 1000 bikes (pedal and electric) across more than 100 docking stations in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

**What we are looking for**:
We are seeking to hire an energetic mechanic, who works well with others to maintain our fleet and ensure they are ready for distribution.

Average hours: 37.5 hours.

Tue-Sat 08:00-16:00

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.90/Hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Undertake regular servicing and repair of all Nextbikes and electric assist Nextbikes
- Record all repairs carried out using our Proprietary in house-app
- Report all vandalised and damaged bikes
- Support the redistribution of bikes, station inspections and bike charging
- Ensure workspace is kept clean and tidy and report any damaged workshop items
- Work with colleagues and the M&R Manager in the city to improve repair processes and ensure a great service for residents in the city

**Requirements**:

- Basic mechanical competency
- Competent with basic workshop tools
- Knowledge of using Smartphones/Apps
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Must be able to lift 20kg
- Cytech license (preferred)
- Velotech license (preferred)
