Dental Receptionist/administrator

**We are excited to be starting our search for a Receptionist/Front of House to join our award-winning fully private dental practice.** It is an exciting time to be joining our team at one80 Dental as we embark on a period of significant growth. This role offers a great opportunity to support the delivery of excellent patient-focused dental care.
The role holder must be passionate about dentistry, and excited to talk with all our patients about how our services and treatments can help them to achieve a happy and healthy smile. This role would be well suited to an ambitious and experienced dental nurse looking for career progression and/or a new challenge.

one80 Dental is an award-winning practice located in Totley, Sheffield. We provide a wide range of dental services, treatments and advanced procedures ranging from general care to specialist-led treatments and cosmetic solutions. We are a fully digital practice, with 4 modern surgeries, CBCT / OPT Machine, microscope and dedicated surgical suite.

**About You**
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and highly organised individual. You will possess a passion for providing a high level of customer service and will have demonstrable experience of doing so. The role will join our front of house team and will work collaboratively to provide all administrative duties necessary to support both clinical and operational activities of the Practice. The role is the first point of contact and as such you should be confident, enthusiastic and an excellent advocate for our business.
Ideally you will have an affinity with, or a curiosity for business growth; and for finding ways to ensure both our loyal patient base and new patients have a 5 star experience everytime.
The role is varied and will require a high level of multi-tasking, so an organised and methodical approach is important. You will be focused on customer experience and satisfaction, and will be motivated by contributing to the continued success of the business.
You will be responsible for the accurate registration of new patients using our electronic patient management software; ensuring that appointments are booked efficiently. You will provide administrative support to the dentists during their clinics, collect and record patient payments, schedule future appointments for patients and ensure associated reminders, documentation and correspondence is sent in a timely manner.
- Experience of working in a dental or private / commercial healthcare setting (at least 1 year in relevant roles)
- Confidence in presenting yourself and acting as a positive ambassador for the practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a confident and calm approach.
- Experience of diary management in a business-focused environment
- Experience of customer relationship management software (CRM)
- Demonstrable customer/patient care experience
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good standard of written and spoken English.
- Demonstrable tact and judgement with knowledge of GDPR requirements relating to confidential and sensitive information
