A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join a small established Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, UK.

**Role**:

- Full Time Office Based
- Lovely Rural Location - Car Driver/Access to own vehicle essential
- Monday - Thursday 09:00 - 17:15 & Friday 09:00 - 16:00
- Salary from £25,000 DOE

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible to the Head of Finance
- Collating staff time sheets and supporting with Payroll
- Liaising with clients on a daily basis
- Chasing purchase orders and outstanding client debts
- Using SAGE 50 Accounts, Sage 50 Payroll and Sage HR on a daily basis
- Ensure clients, employees and other visitors experience a professional, welcoming and friendly reception, both in person and on the phone
- General Administrative Duties _including typing, faxing, scanning, copying, taking notes, ordering supplies and attending meetings_
- Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator or Finance Assistant
- Previous experience in a Senior/Leadership Position desirable but not essential
- Must have Hands-on experience with accounting software SAGE 50 Accounts, Sage 50 Payroll and Sage HR
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
- Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organisational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
