**Young Person's Assistant (Domiciliary Care)**
- We are seeking a Domiciliary Care Worker for flexible hours to join our family. If you have the skills needed to work with children with disabilities in their homes, this could be the new role for you_

**Salary**:From £10.40 per hour.

**Location**:Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

**Contract/Hours**:Casual, flexible hours.

**A bit about the role**

In this role you will be supporting children and young people with disabilities within their home. Engaging in activities as well as encouraging and promoting their practical life and social skills. You will provide personal care and support them with their daily living needs. **As a **Young** Person's Assistant providing **Domiciliary** **Care** you **will**:

- Have a positive, proactive outlook in providing support to
- Help the children in all aspects of their daily lives, supporting their health and happiness.
- Take responsibility for the personal care and daily needs of young people.
- Be resilient in supporting children through challenging situations.
- Support young people to achieve positive outcomes.
- Be responsible for the safeguarding of young people and maintaining accurate records.

You will be fully supported with training and ongoing supervision as part of our team. This is an opportunity to develop in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for a pro-active person with the same aspirations to make brighter futures as us. You will need:

- Experience of working with children or young people (experience working with children with disabilities would be an advantage).
- Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable, or the willingness to work towards this.
- Working off your own initiative.
- The ability to work effectively on your own or as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including night shifts.
