Football Journalist to cover Southampton Sport
- Conduct research and gather information through interviews, investigations, and other sources
- Write and edit news articles, features, and reports for publication
- Cover events, press conferences, and other news-worthy happenings
- Develop story ideas and pitch them to editors
- Stay up-to-date with current events and trends in order to provide accurate and timely news coverage
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and other journalists to enhance news stories
- Utilize social media platforms to promote articles and engage with audience
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field preferred (can still be studying)
- Proven relevent experience working as a journalist or reporter
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design purposes
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus for conducting interviews and translating content

As a Journalist, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of news reporting. You will be responsible for gathering information, conducting interviews, writing articles, and engaging with the audience through various media platforms. Your work will contribute to informing the public and shaping public opinion.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
