Installation Technician

This position will be responsible for installing or supervising the installation of our clients’ products both the Agricultural and Industrial sectors. Projects undertaken can range in complexity dependent on what and where the products are being installed.

**Our successful Installation Technician will have experience fitting mechanical products and be technically minded responding to various client systems and fixtures.**
- A company vehicle (van), tools, PPE, mobile phone, an_d tablet are included within the role. Even though the client’s headquarters are at Ledbury, Herefordshire, this role is based on you travelling from home to site with occasionally meetingat HQ._
- Also, a daily allowance of £38 per day for food whilst working away and quality accommodation at the best hotels in the areas when visiting client sites. A credit card to pay for hotels and fuel will also be provided._

**Operational Responsibilities**:

- The installation of company products and systems on Agricultural & Industrial sites
- Trouble shooting and ability to be reactive with fixtures and fittings
- Supervision of customers own labour on site installations
- Assisting with R&D projects as required, including testing, giving practical feedback to new developments
- Ensuring company Vans are kept in an orderly and road worthy manner
- Completing job related paperwork, including time sheets / site diary / reports / completion certificates as per company procedures
- Following the company and customer’s health and safety procedures and practices are followed throughout the installation

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Some Basic Electrical/Electronic knowledge is essential
- Experience of thinking on your feet and being reactive to tasks that arise
- Must be comfortable to work at height using Powered access equipment and static towers
- The possession of an up-to-date CSCS cards would be an advantage, but courses will be provided when required.
- Travelling throughout the UK at various client locations
- A full UK Driving License is essential
