CNC Punch Machine Operator

Adore Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CNC Punch Machine Operator to work with their client who supplies bespoke fabrication, commercial catering equipment, installation and service contracts for the hospitality industry.

We are looking for an operator who would be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and operating the CNC punch machine.

Work may involve any of the following: setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal. Operating welding equipment to join sheet metal parts; or inspecting, assembling, and smoothing seams and joints.

Flat sheet metal materials are to be prepared ready for fabrication and assembly of products such as drop-ins, sinks, benches, wall cupboards, workstations, hot cupboards, hot passes and well garnishing units.
**Duties**:

- Oversea machinery setup to make sure it’s safe and ready to handle its load
- Working to clients requirements/drawings allowing for tolerances
- Load metal into machine
- Cut, grind or drill materials in machine as needed by adjusting speed, path of cut and other factors.
- Regularly inspect machine for mechanical and safety issues.
- Makes sure machines remain well-stocked so that as few interruptions of service as possible exist.
- Works a flexible schedule to keep up with production demand during busy production periods
**Secondary Role**:

- General basic fabricating.
- Assemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them by MIG and TIG welding, bolting or riveting.
**Special Factors**:

- The nature of the work may involve the job holder carrying out work outside of normal working hours
- The postholder may be required to attend, from time to time, training courses, conferences, seminars, or other meetings as required by his/her own training needs and the needs of the company.
- Expenses will be paid in accordance with company policy.
