Carpenter/bench Joiner

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic carpenter / bench joiner able to deliver a high quality finish. The job will involve the following:

- Carrying out a site survey, including taking measurements
- Ability to read drawings for the construction projects in the works and onsite
- Experience in operating various machinery
- The job will involve working in the workshop and also onsite (often London but can also be other parts of the country), this can be for periods of 1 to 2 weeks
- the applicant must be able to undertake specific instructions and work at a fast pace while keeping attention to detail.
- Must be able to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
- The applicant is required to hold a valid Driving Licence
- Security vetting may be required for working in some of the venues.
- Good communication skills are crucial as dealing with our customers on site in a professional manner is of the upmost importance to us.
- Previous experience in this type of Industry is beneficial but not a requirement of the job
- Hourly rate depending on experience of applicant
- Workshop hours are either 8.00am - 3.30pm or 5.30pm depending on workload. Site hours as required to meet requirements of the project

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 - 6 months
