**Electromechanical Technician - Manufacturing - Southampton - £15.50-17.50ph DOE**

**The Electro-mechanical Technician will be responsible for**:

- Overhaul of all type and manufacturers of Low and High Voltage AC motors and generators
- Provide mechanical engineering and general machining services
- Overhaul of all mechanical equipment
- Service, maintain and repair all types of manufacturers and DC motors and generators
- Contribute to onsite maintenance and onsite machining

**Required experience**:

- A recognised Electrical / Mechanical engineering apprenticeship
- Advanced electrical and mechanical experience
- Previous demonstrable experience of overhaul and repair of all types of electric motors including;
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
