Bench Joiner

GS Contracts are looking for a Bench Joiner to join our growing team.

Working predominately across the commercial, leisure and hospitality sectors, GS Contracts is a leading shop-fitting and interior fit-out contractor working within London and the surrounding areas.

Due to our continued expansion and positive work pipeline, we are looking for bench joiners to manufacture bespoke joinery items from our workshop in Colchester.

**The Role**:
Key Duties and Responsibilities.
- Understanding technical drawings
- Producing cutting lists
- Quantify materials needed for a job
- Using a range of equipment from traditional tools and workshop machinery
- Liaise with our drawing department
- Liaise & review production schedules
- Ensure quality checks on all joinery is carried out prior to loading.
- Carryout full site surveys when required
- Working as part of the team to meet deadlines

- Previous experience working in a similar role

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
