**Pay**:£19.10 per hour

**Hours**: 37.5 hours a week

**Location**:Rotherham Hospital, S60 2UD (Hybrid role 2 days per week on site/ 3 days WFH)

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Ensure that incidents assigned to the Technical Services team are dealt with in accordance with the department’s Incident Management procedures.
- On a rotational basis, to act as incident manager for the Technical Services team
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping and the pro-active reporting across all technical infrastructures (particularly server and storage)
- Identify, report up and track emerging issues which may or may not have the potential to impact upon service availability or business resilience.
- Maintenance and support of physical server infrastructure and operating systems.
- Maintenance and support of virtual server environment.
- Maintenance and support of network storage (SAN).

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Degree or equivalent occupational/ professional qualification to experience
- Network certificate such as CCNA or equivalent (desirable)
- ITIL Foundation (desirable)
- Prince2 Foundation and Prince2 Practitioner (desirable)
- Customer service skills
- NHS experience
- European Computer Driving License (ECDL) or equivalent (desirable)
- Recent experience you have with Virtualization - VMWare or Hyper-V
- Experience in Data Backup/Restoration & Migration
- Experience of server engineering
- This role may require you to show evidence of education to Degree level or at least 2 years relevant experience. _
