**Position Summary**

Due to continued growth and development, WRC is recruiting for a qualified **HGV** **Mechanic** to join our growing team in support of our ongoing expansion. This is the perfect position for an individual with HGV experience looking for their next career change to a market-leading Recycling firm.

**Duties**
- Maintenance and repair of WRC’s current fleet of vehicles to ensure they are compliant with current health and safety regulations as well as DVLA standards.
- Regularly completing fault diagnosis on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Carrying out day-to-day repairs such as basic welding and servicing
- Ensure all repairs and servicing are carried out to VOSA and MOT standards
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of HGV vehicles and products
- Regular fault diagnosis and rectification

**Requirements of the role**
- Class 1 HGV license would be advantageous but not essential
- Experience working with HGV vehicles and associated systems such as hydraulics, electrics and brakes
- Competent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to work alongside a team of qualified mechanics
