**Showroom Assistant Job Description**

Reporting to Showroom Manager

Mobility Your Way is an expanding business, our goal is to provide excellent customer service and customer experience. This starts with our Showroom teams. As a Showroom Assistant, you will be part of a team working to achieve this goal. You will be the face of Mobility Your Way, often being the first place customers go in their journey to independence.

We want our local showroom teams to be the face of our business in the area you operate in. You should be the first place customers call when they need help or assistance with mobility. We sell mobility scooters, wheelchairs, walking aids and products to make life easier for people with any mobility issues. You will be assisting customers with a variety of needs and must have excellent communication and customer service skills. We also need you to have good attention to detail and be very organised in managing your time and customer enquiries. We use a computerised stock and sales system and will provide full training on this and our product range so you can advise customers with confidence.

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- You will help customers find the products they need whilst delivering excellent customer service
- You will schedule servicing, repairs, assessments and surveys for you and your colleagues
- You will also be confident in upselling and ancillary selling
- You will be assessing customers for prescriptive products and ensuring the product is correct for their needs
- You will assist your Showroom Manager is the administrative functions of the Showroom
- You, along with your Showroom Manager, will be responsible for ensuring your Showroom is presentable and ready to serve customers
- You will be confident selling externally, such as in a customer’s home
- You will assist in stock ordering and procurement
- You will help you Showroom Manager in identifying opportunities for sales expansion
- Crucial is that you are a team player, dedicated to the common goal of excellent customer service

This will be a very challenging and rewarding role where you will be able to impact the success of your service area.

Full driving license required.

This role will involve some heavy lifting.

Progression opportunities may become available in the future.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
