**The Post**

The College is seeking to appoint a meticulous and motivated individual to become the Head of Governance for the Reigate Learning Alliance (RLA). The post holder will be required to provide clerking services to the Trust and its various sub committees, as well as provide high level compliance and administrative support.

The post holder will be required to work 18 hours per week on site, across three days per week. Some flexibility is possible with days and hours worked, but the core hours of work are 9.30am - 2.30pm on each of the three days (including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). The majority of Trust Board, subcommittee and other out of hour’s meetings, take place on a Tuesday evening throughout the year.

The role will involve working closely with the Governors and the Trust’s Executive. The post requires highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and excellent attention to detail. Previous experience as a Clerk or Governance Professional is desirable.

The role will require either the possession of, or the willingness to gain a qualification with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators or equivalent.

**Salary**

The starting salary for the post is between £18,837 and £19,881 (FTE £45,733 and £48,268), rising on annual increments to £21,043 (FTE £51,090) per annum.
