**We have opportunities across all wards within the Medium Secure Division
- Rose Ward for Senior Healthcare Assistants.**

A purpose built 17-bed medium secure unit for adult men with a range of neurological and general mental health conditions who require neuro behavioural rehabilitation in a forensic environment.

Rose is a specialist ward for men aged 18-65 with a formal psychiatric or neurological diagnosis, including Acquired or Traumatic Brain Injury, early onset dementia, stroke, epilepsy, Huntington’s disease (HD) and Parkinsons.

Based within a purpose built, medium secure environment, our service offers innovative therapy and treatment from the UK’s leading provider of neuropsychiatry services and the only service of its kind south of Birmingham.Patients will typically presentwith cognitive deficits or behavioural changes that in turn require neuro behavioural treatment in an in-patient setting.

In this role you will be the most Senior Healthcare Assistant on the ward, supporting qualified nurse’s to deliver exceptional care to our patients. You will take a lead in mentoring junior Healthcare Assistants and the organisation and co-ordination ofthe day. Knowledge and experience of working with this patient group and community services would be an advantage, as you will be a role model to your team, demonstrating a flexible, individual and person centred approach. Safety and therapeutic engagementis the key components of our care delivery focus and should be a key demonstrable ability required for this role.
