**FUNERAL DIRECTOR’S ASSISTANT**
A vacancy has arisen for an Funeral Director’s assistant within our well established family business based in Wallsend.
Duties will include
- Giving assistance to our existing team when dealing with bereaved families, local authorities, suppliers etc.
- You will also be involved in all aspects of the funeral services offered.
- This will range from bringing people’s loved ones into care, dressing of both the coffins and the deceased to pallbearing and assisting at the funeral service itself.
Normal office hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
The position also requires your inclusion on an on-call rota for out of hours work.
Please note that this position is on a 3 day minimum part-time permanent basis and due to the nature of the industry a flexible attitude is essential.
Minimum starting salary is £14,000.00pa pro rata and further remuneration is available via the on-call rota when out of office work is required.
