We have an exciting opportunity for an Instrumentation Calibration Engineer based at our customers' site in Aberdeen.

**The Instrumentation Calibration Engineer role**

Joining our team as an Instrumentation Engineer you will be responsible for all aspects of specialist calibration and measuring instrumentation to ensure a first-class service to our customers, ensuring compliance with client contractual and KPI obligations.

You will undertake calibration measurements to the correct procedures, instructions and specifications and maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilising the relevant business management system.

Other responsibilities:

- Safe and effective use, maintenance, calibration and repair of Ovens & Furnaces.
- Calibration of temperature and measuring instrumentation.
- Fault diagnosis on Oven and Furnace control loop instrumentation.
- Handling technical enquiries and liaising with clients where necessary.
- Assist in the development and improvement of inspection and calibration procedures.
- Participate in external/internal audits
- Ensure that mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented at all times.
- Maintain and produce accurate calibration records enabling the production of calibration certificates.
- Provide technical support to colleagues on request in line with capability.
- Maintenance of calibration certification and files.
- Participate in Trescal Interlaboratory measurement audits.
- Participate in external/internal audits as required by the Trescal Quality Manager within the customer facility.

**The ideal Engineer**
- Previous knowledge and experience of calibration practices and theories is essential.
- PC literacy and knowledge in Windows-based and laboratory automation software is required.
- Relevant qualifications in an electrical discipline and previous experience of working in the calibration industry is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of working within Customer focused environment is preferable.
