About the Role:
As the first point of contact for customers, the Receptionist should present the professional, friendly image of FLSmidth. The Receptionist is expected to ensure the smooth flow of visitors, information and communication throughout the Australian business.

Job scope:

- General administration duties to ensure effective running of the business.
- Answering phones in a professional, friendly manner.
- Liaising with clients over the phone regarding any general enquiries.
- Provision of general Customer Service support.
- Greeting clients/visitors.
- Safety Inductions & ensuring all clients and visitors are signed in.
- Coordination and distribution of mail, including organising outgoing mail to be collated and ready for pick up.
- Organise and order stationery orders with due consideration to budgetary requirements.
- Conduct Workshop and Warehouse “familiarisation walk around” inductions for all contractors, new employees and other personnel.
- Manage Facility repairs and maintenance.

What you bring:

- Minimum Year 12 Education.
- Previous reception and administration experience.
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills & ability to take and follow instructions.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a positive "can do attitude".
- Friendly and personable disposition.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in order to work with customers, contractors and other personnel on a daily basis.
- Highly developed organisation, prioritising skills, multitasking and time management skills.
- Good attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and autonomously.
- Intermediate skills in MSOffice Suite essential, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
