Yardman

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Yardman to join the team based out of our Birtley Depot. This role will require experience of managing a yard/depot and ensuring its smooth running.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the depot and associated areas are kept in a clean, safe, and tidy condition.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles as and when required.
- Ensure all items that are required to be recorded and reported are completed in line with the timeline and quality required.
- PPE as required must be worn at all times.
- Ensure your required productivity levels are maintained.
- Report any issues identified directly to your line manager.
- Ensure that Health and Safety standards are adhered to, ensuring the safety of yourself, your colleagues, visitors, and members of the public.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Full clean driving licence. May be required to move vehicles and plant within the depot.
- Telehandler licence.
- Previous experience in a similar role, hire business or builders’ merchants.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
