**Do you have a strong background in consumer PR and are looking for an exciting opportunity to join the PR team for one of Britain's best loved supermarkets?**

This role is the driving force in the development and execution of Asda PR's brand campaigns and events - effectively communicating key launches of Asda's products and services that demonstrate our commitment to quality products and meeting the needs ofour customers. This will be achieved through exciting, integrated PR campaigns that complement or enhance our total marketing communications plans.

**Key responsibilities**
- Responsible for developing and implementing a calendar of PR campaigns that successfully communicate key messages around Asda's products and services in earned media, and in line with Asda's overall reputation and values. ?
- Responsible for the day to management of our PR agencies to ensure campaigns are clearly briefed, developed and executed - in line with broader customer comms timelines and plans. ?
- Responsible for ensuring all campaign activity is clearly defined, measured and success is communicated to the relevant stakeholders.?
- Responsible for identifying new and innovative ways of landing or measuring PR campaigns - taking the opportunity to push boundaries and challenge thinking. ?
- Responsible for holding excellent relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure awareness of new products, services or campaign opportunities?.
- Budget management of campaign activity and events, working closely with wider Asda Brand team.
- Manage the Senior Press Officer for the Asda Brand and Campaign and provide clear leadership, guidance and career development to support to this role. ?
- From time to time, provide on call services for the PR team and wider business. ?

**Essential skills and experience**
- Minimum 6 years PR experience in consumer PR - ideally with experience in managing a team and internal stakeholders (agency or in house)?
- Enviable journalist contacts and knowledge of the media landscape ?
- Confident in identifying, developing and implementing creative PR stories and campaigns that deliver impactful results?
- Experience in line management
