**Role Purpose**:
A key member of the management team overseeing the retail team and retail environment through strong team leadership delivering store standards, customer service, team development and driving KPI targets within our retail store located in Livingston Designer Outlet, Livingston, West Lothian, EH54 6QX.

**Accountabilities**:
**1.** Drive brand passion whilst creating a welcoming retail environment which delivers the Eden Mill brand journey and values to our customers and team.
- Lead by example by role modelling the correct behaviors and expected standards.
**2.** Drive exceptional customer service through excellent product knowledge, brand passion and team development to deliver above and beyond our customer expectations.
- Ensure team members are up to date with product knowledge with continued coaching and development.
**3.** Plan, delegate and supervise the retail teams daily activities whilst driving team performance to deliver service and sales targets.
- Collaboratively with the retail manager plan and forecast team rota’s in line with store requirements and promotional activities.
- Identify key strengths within the retail team to maximise service and sales opportunities.
**4.** Maintain store standards through excellent housekeeping and visual merchandising standards including POS, ticketing and pricing.
- Own store standards by leading by example to ensure the store is well maintained in line with our customer’s and company expectations.
- Collaboratively work with the retail manager and wider Eden Mill team to deliver store campaigns.
- Ensure the store delivers company and legal POS, ticketing and pricing policies.
**5.** Maximise and deliver sales targets outlined by Eden Mill and capitalise on sales opportunities.
- Support the Retail Manager to delivery sales KPI’s targets.
- Drive team sales performance through clear communication and expectations.
- Listen to customer and team feedback to explore new sales opportunities.
**6.** Coordinating and managing all aspects of the retail stores till and stock systems to ensure the store is operating efficiently.
- Own stock movements including stock orders, shrinkage and discrepancies.
- Coaching and developing the retail team effectively to ensure all customer transactions are completed correctly and stock management is maintained.
- Manage till system reporting including cash handling duties in line with company policy.
**7.** Deliver Eden Mill retail playbook, policies & procedures through each aspect of our retail store and team.
- Ensure team members follow guidelines within the retail playbook, company policies and procedures through continued coaching and development.
**8.** Ensure store security, FH&S and Licensing procedures and policies are adhered to within the retail store.
- Drive continued team coaching and ensure documentation is kept up to date.

**Core Competencies**:
**1.Organisation**
Responsible for the organisation of the store and the retail team. This includes delegating tasks and responsibilities, training new employees, assigning shifts and monitoring performance. Organising and prioritising workload effectively is essential.

**5.Problem Solving**
Anticipate potential problems and take steps to prevent them from occurring in the first instance. Effectively react and solve problems which do occur quickly and efficiently ensuring customer service is maintained at all times.

**2.Time Management**
Excellent time management skills to prioritise and delegate daily tasks to ensure the retail team delivers daily objectives and customer service.

**6.Team Player**
Build a strong motivational relationship with the retail team and wider Eden Mill team. Communicate clearly and concisely, listen attentively, pay attention to detail and provide feedback.

**3.Leadership**
Motivate the retail team to work productively, ensure team are trained to deliver their roles. Monitor team performance and provide feedback.

**7.Listening Skills**
Effectively listen to the retail team and customers utilising feedback which supports future decision making or adjustments which can result positively for Eden Mill.

**4.Customer Service**
Communicate clearly with customers and the retail team. Building a friendly, helpful and enthusiastic retail environment. Resolving difficult customer issues that may arise in a professional and diplomatic manner.

**8.Decision Making**
Analysis each decision to determine the correct positive outcome for the retail team, customers and Eden Mill.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar leadership role within a retail or customer service environment.
- A proven track record delivering customer service.
- A proven track record at managing and developing a team.
- Knowledge and experience of organising in store events and promotional activity to drive sales.
- Competent using POS systems.
- Experience of FH&S procedures.
