Greenkeeper

Over 30 years private members club combines tradition with the latest course developments, nestled on the border of Cheshire and Staffordshire, Alsager Golf and Country Club is a welcoming and challenging 18 hole golf course for golfers of all abilities, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Greenkeeper on a **full time basis, **working 39 hours a week.

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for maintenance and set up of the course for general play and competitions. Duties will comprise of cutting greens and rough areas, strimming, raking bunkers, along with being involved with course improvement renovations and construction.

Ideal applicants will posses or be working towards Level 2 or higher in Sports Turf Management and Maintenance or equivalent.

PA1, 2 & 6 or Chainsaw CS30,31 would be an advantage but not essential

Passionate, enthusiastic and highly motivated team player, with a strong attention for detail for maintaining the appearance of the course

Ability to work in an efficient and effective manner and prioritise activities

Pay: From £23,200.00 per year
