Job Introduction
Sodexo Live have an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Staffing Co -Ordinator to join our first-class team at Ascot Racecourse.

You will be working as part of the team at the iconic Ascot Racecourse where we are committed to providing our guests with an outstanding experience whether they come to race, hold a business meeting, or host a private dinner at our world-class venue. You will support the HR and staffing function in delivering the recruitment and staffing requirements for Race days and the Conference and Events function.

Main Responsibilities
- To ensure that all race days and events are full staffed with the correct calibre and skill level, to the agreed ratios provided by the operational team
- Forecast and report actual costs within agreed timeframes and with a high level of accuracy
- Ensuring that best practice procedures and HR policies are consistently applied
- To manage and respond to all agency timesheet queries and ensure accuracy of all account data
- To support with the staffing requirements of the external Events
- To drive the engagement of direct casual workers for all events
- To plan and roster for all key event dates using the Humanforce Time and Attendance system
- Engage with agencies to build rapport with representatives to ensure they understand our requirements and are focused to deliver
- To support your own staffing accounts which may include hospitality, retail, boxes, cellar, logistics
- To ensure effective recruitment and onboarding of staff for 1711 by Ascot, utilising the ‘1711 by Ascot’ brand.
- Promote Sodexo as the preferred employer both internally and externally, by adhering to company recruitment policies
- Coordinate the Staffing function at Ascot to ensure all labour is accurately planed and forecasted in line with labour productivity initiatives and budgets, to meet company and client objectives

You will have previous experience of working in a recruitment environment. You will be motivated as well as adaptable and be able to manage a workload of different tasks simultaneously

You will:

- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be confident in the use of MS Office, especially Excel, along with other computer programmes
- Have a flexible approach to working hours and days
- Have the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Be a strong relationship builder
- Be highly organised with a strong attention to detail
