Our small, homely nursery is looking for a friendly and hard-working cleaner to ensure the premises is inviting and safe for all our children and their families.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Use the appropriate cleaning resources provided to you to complete all cleaning tasks
- Clean toilets and nappy changing areas
- Clean kitchen spaces
- Wipe down tables and chairs
- Empty household waste bins
- Hoover and mop floors
- Complete a deep clean at regular half-termly intervals
- To ensure the premises is locked securely when leaving the site

Required skills and experience:

- An awareness of health and safety at work
- An ability to undertake a range of manual cleaning activities
- An ability to read, understand and follow instructions for cleaning equipment and products
- An ability to use own initiative
- An ability to work in a methodical and organised manner
- An ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and take responsibility for standards of work carried out
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not a requirement for the job role

Part-time hours: 7.5 per week
