Reed Finance are pleased to be supporting an established yet developing educational organisation in South Essex are seeking a new lead finance professional. Reporting into the CEO and partnering with Directors, Trustees and Senior Management the Head ofFinance will provide strategic and operational leadership in all aspects of the business and be accountable for the operation, maintenance and development of systems, processes and procedures relating to budget and strategic growth plans.

**A few key duties and deliverables**:

- Exercising strong cash management through robust cash-flow forecasting_
- Managing the operation and improvement of the organisation’s financial controls,_
- Managing the year-end audit, accounts, tax computation analysis and statutory_
- Managing the provision of quarterly accounts to the Regions and Special Interest_
- Preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts_
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with variance analyses and supporting commentary_
- Working closely with the directors and Heads of Departments to manage performance and to control costs_

**A few requirements in order to be considered**:

- Relevant senior finance experience - Fully qualified, ACA/ACCA or CIMA_
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written_
- Proven experience of managing and developing a team_
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to challenge where necessary_
- Excellent ICT skills_
