Funeral Arranger

We are a small independent family funeral directors we offer a sensitive, professional service to the families in our care, and we set very high standards within the profession.
Duties include:
- liaising with all funeral arrangements
- general administration
- Dealing with bereaved families face to face and over the phone on a daily basis.
- be able prepare deceased for viewing,
- excellent telephone manor and computer literacy skills essential
- Prepare funeral quotes/ invoices
- chase unpaid invoices
- Foster working relationships with local community and with the professionals who support our funerals (Doctors, Clergy etc)
- Provide information and assistance to community and grieving clients
- Also required to cover holidays for our other funeral directors.
- All funerals will be seen to the very end so conducting funerals will also be involved (training will given on this)
Ideally have a minimum of 3 years experience in arranging funerals as there is no training given.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a new challenge.
Hours are Monday to Friday 9am Till 5pm
Must have a driving licence
