Pricing Controller

We are looking for a Pricing Controller to join our Finance team based at our Head Office in Lutterworth. The purpose of the role is to provide timely and efficient pricing analysis to the UK Senior Management Team, as well as to develop and execute pricing KPI’s to support management decision making, ensuring that we make the best returns and continue to deliver market leading value for our customers. The Pricing Controller will also manage and control all elements of pricing within the UK business, including competitor benchmarking, review, and sign off on all fixed rate agreements.
**Key Tasks**:
- Production of daily, weekly and monthly pricing KPI’s - to include a full analysis of discount, machine item analysis, transport analysis, price lists and scenarios to deliver insights and supports decision making.
- Ownership of the monthly pricing reports including the discount report.
- Support the SPM with monthly review and recommendation of system rates.
- Management of all fixed rate pricing including sign off and escalation of all FRA’s and support with CPA’s that have been escalated for approval.
- Support the SPM in delivering the budgeted rate increases for the year.
- Produce executive summaries of deals where escalation to the SLT is required.
- Work collaboratively and cross functionally across the business including the Finance Business Controllers and Sales and Marketing
- Data ownership of all system rates.
- Ownership of the FRA and CPA process’s
- Support the SPM with any long term hire rate requests including reviewing rates and profitability.
- Month end reporting including, but not limited to, discount reports and agreement performance trackers.
- Support the SPM with major tender analysis and rate proposals
- Review and sign off on rebate payment requests
- Manage the daily exceptions report. Collate and report on this weekly.
- Contribute to adhoc projects and tasks as required.
- Assisting with customer contract administration.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Numerate and accurate, with good analytical and reporting skills.
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
- Computer literate with good Word and Excel skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills including the use of PowerPoint.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
