Bus Driver

We hire out vintage buses, usually for weddings, so need a driver with initiative to solve problems and be good with customers.

Some jobs are double-decker so have a conductor but others are single deck without conductor. You would be responsible for dressing the bus, as necessary, with ribbon on the front, and blind inserts. Experience with Routemaster would be useful but usually we use older, pre-selector gearboxes.

Jobs are often on Saturdays throughout the season but can be on other days. We are a small company so you will be expected to be able to work on your own but will be supported remotely. Jobs last from about 3 hours to, occasionally, the legal max working time. Min pay is for 8 hours per job.

We will need a reference from a recent employer.
