We’re looking for a Buyer to join a growing procurement team to support their IT category.

You don’t need experience in this categoryyour new manager loves mentoring and has a track record of developing people who are early in their procurement career.

Day to day you’ll be responsible for spend across IT hardware, with flexibility to support software and service spend as needed.

In time, you’ll become a Subject Matter Expert, being the key liaison between suppliers and your internal stakeholders, managing the full procurement cycle for your category.

The business is currently evolving their procurement function and are looking to put in a more organised, process driven strategy. This will create loads of opportunity for progression within the IT category team, or for moves into other indirect spend areas.

If you’re keen to study CIPS, the business will sponsor you. You’ll also have the benefit of being coached by a leadership team who are all MCIPS qualified.

Salary is c.35-40k depending on experience. Hybrid working, 4 days from home with 1 day at their office in Birmingham.
