This is a great opportunity for a psychologist to further develop skills working with adults with complex mental health problems. This is a fixed-term post based on an inpatient medium secure ward at the Humber Centre, Willerby, Hull (10 minutes from Humber bridge).

This role is suitable for a person already working at Band 8a level, or a Band 7 Psychologist, who would like to develop into an 8a role.

This is a full-time position, but part-time hours are also available. You can plan your work flexibly, with opportunities each week to work from home.

There will also be opportunities to lead on service wide projects to contribute significantly to improving the quality of the psychological services that we provide.

This post is full-time, although part-time applicants will be considered. The possibility of hybrid working can be discussed. The service is also open to secondment opportunities.

You will be part of a friendly and supportive group of Forensic and Clinical Psychologists, who maintain a strong identity as a Psychology Department whilst also being key members of multidisciplinary teams. We are members of the local Post-Qualification Training Network, providing frequent opportunities for accessing high quality CPD events and training. The psychology department has a good relationship with the University of Hull.
