this company specialises in creating spaces for High end restaraunts, hotels and bars. this is an exciting opportunity to join a dyamic and growing company that have projects in northern ireland, the Uk and France

**This company is looking for an estimator to report to the Pre-construction Director and work closely with the pre-construction department to produce accurate pricing for high quality joinery items and play an important role in procurement and the profitability of projects.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare tender submissions and accurate cost estimations of joinery and cabinetry items on projects valued between £50k-£1m, ensuring the completed documents are submitted on time and in full
- Provide value engineering options for clients
- Work with PMs and finance to create variations
- Build and maintain estimating software library
- Develop strong working partnerships & relationships with clients and contractors
- Follow up with the client and provide accurate updates on submitted tenders and quotations
- Obtain quotes and prices from sub-contractors & suppliers

**Skills**
- A minimum of 2 years previous estimation experience and a history of successful tendering within the construction sector.
- You must have a strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills
- You must be a self-starter and willing to work on your own initiative
- Have a proactive approach and ability to overcome challenges
- Proven ability to work within a busy team and work to strict deadlines
- Practical joinery experience

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- surveying: 2 years (preferred)
