Fuel Driver Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Cockermouth Fuels Depot for a highly motivated individual to assist in the efficient running of day to day operations.

**THE JOB**

To assist in the efficient day to day operations of the Fuels depot, whilst following all operational procedures and Health and Safety guidelines and supporting a team of drivers.
- Authorise driver hours, holidays and overtime, inputting weekly data.
- Manage driver risk assessments at depot, communicate issues raised to customers and report data back to HSE and Management.
- Promote sales growth, collaborating with internal Fuels sales teams and wider business sales teams/sites.
- Upskill and motivate team members whilst addressing any potential skill gaps.
- Daily loading of the vehicle at the company depot, or designated fuel terminal.
- Multi drop work delivering kerosene, road diesel and gas oil to both domestic and commercial customers.
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures, including basic vehicle maintenance, daily vehicle checks, driver risk assessment reporting, HGV compliance and tachograph regulation.
- Continuously promotes our Health and Safety culture.
- Actively supports teamwork to ensure targets and tasks are completed.
- Assist with other work around the depot when required, including holiday cover and support cover across other depots.
- Provide friendly and professional engagement with customers, looking for customer service opportunities to go the extra mile.
- Attend training and development meetings, including monthly H&S and toolbox talk meetings.
- Promotes the business brand whilst always working towards required standards.
- To adhere to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental.

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED**
- Previous experience of Fuel tanker driver and delivery of fuel.
- HGV Category C licence.
- ADR including Class 3 in tanks.
- I.T Literate, with previous I.T system knowledge.
- Strong, professional communication skills.
- Willingness for continuous improvement.
- Ability to work well within a team and as an individual.
