Kitchen Porter

**Job brief**

We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to help keep our kitchen clean and support our cooking staff. You are needed to help maintain our functioning kitchen as part of a small friendly team.

Kitchen Porter responsibilities include washing pots and pans, keeping floors clean, sanitizing food preparation areas, and occasionally helping with food prep work. If you think you’ll enjoy the buzz of a busy kitchen, we’d like to meet you.

**Responsibilities**

Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls, ceilings) clean and sanitized.

Wash cookware, utensils, and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation.

Check and store ingredient deliveries.

Keep food and storage areas organized.

Empty kitchen bins when busy

Help with routine food prep tasks (such as peeling and chopping vegetables) when needed.

**Requirements and skills**

A fast learner with an interest in kitchen work (no experience needed full training can be given)

Willingness to be part of a team.

Good organizational skills.

The ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment.

Patience and cool headedness.

A good can-do friendly attitude.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
