Are you an experienced Support Worker or Care Assistant, looking for a new challenge?
Or do you have some personal experience of supporting or enabling someone, with a great understanding of enablement?
We have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading, independent provider of social care, who will support, mentor and train you to learn and develop in your role.
We are seeking people with a relevant background either in a paid role, or personal experience, who are looking to develop within social care, for an exciting opportunity within supported accommodation, supporting people with a range of needs.
The role will involve supporting people who have learning disabilities, ADHD, autism and Down syndrome in a supported living environment, to thrive within their home and community and to participate in a wide range of activities. You will need to be comfortablewith supporting people with their personal care.
The role will involve working to a shift rota, so you will need to be able to work flexibly which will include some unsociable hours, a minimum of 1 split shift per week. You will also need to be a driver with a manual licence and willing to drive the mobilityvehicles.
Full training will be provided and you will also be supported in your new role by your local team from day one. In addition:
