**Sub-Station Construction Manager**
**Location**: London, Frankfurt and Amsterdam
**The Company**
One of the largest Data Centre owner / operators in the world. With a strong presence across EMEA and with recent growth specifically across Western and Central Europe. The company are currently in the process of growing and building a new pre-constructionteam.
**The Position (overview)**
The role is a technical and delivery focused role with the responsibility of overseeing the effective implementation of EMEA wide sub-station and power connectivity. This will include overseeing the planning, management, execution, and change control aspectsassociated with sub-stations and on-site utilities
- Planning/ executing assigned sub-stations and on-site utility construction projects from engagement with expansion through to pre-construction, construction, and successful handover
- Manage project specific delays and activities in a proactive manner
- Ensure all sub-station and site utility construction plans and specifications are delivered as per design
- Be accountable for driving and inputting into the standardised delivery of on site sub-station and utility delivery including engagement with all relevant stakeholders (internal and external)
- Ensures all target requirements per contract and building guidelines are completed
- Support the tendering and procurement of key project and programme elements within the pre-construction team
- Work with scheduling and cost management peers to support the development of timely programs and cost plans
- Be accountable within the Data Centre Delivery team for creating and inputting into all safety, risk and quality requirements and documents associated with site utility and sub-station preparations

**Could this be for you?**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- Extensive experience in the delivery and management of sub-station and site utility projects
- Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety and related regulations associated with construction and sub-station projects
- Demonstrate proven mission critical, preferably Data Centre, construction experience
- Have experience in operating at a management level and ability to present to senior leadership both internally and externally
- Have experience in remotely supporting and delivering successful outputs from consultant and project teams
- Ability to work with peers in a cross-functional and collaborative working environment
- Excellent project delivery experience and skill set, with the ability to operate within a multi-cultural environment
