Retail Store Supervisor

**Job role**:
We are looking for a bright and skilled Store Supervisor for our retail operations in Chigwell. The role will be called on to assist the Store Manager in all the store operations - sales and inventory management, customer service, employee management, marketing etc. The Doctor Watson to their Sherlock Holmes, the Assistant Manager will also be required to fill in for the Store Manager during their absence. **Responsibilities**:

- Assists in recruiting, training and managing employees
- Handles shift management
- Handles sales and inventory management
- Helps in analyzing current processes and implementing improvements to increase efficiency
- Collaborates with the rest of the team to come up with creative campaigns to drive sales
- Assists the store manager in solving all personnel issues and increasing morale
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, following publications and participating in conferences
- Assists customers and provides customer service, whenever necessary

**Requirements**:

- 2 years of experience working in the retail industry ideally in a supervisory role
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to foster and maintain a customer-centric environment
